Ingram Micro named global distributor for HPE with full portfolio access
Ingram Micro Holding Corporation (NYSE: INGM) announced it has been selected as a global distributor for HPE, expanding its territory reach and gaining full access to HPE's entire product portfolio including networking, cloud, and AI solutions.
The designation makes Ingram Micro one of two global HPE distributors, according to the company's press release. The partnership builds on more than 20 years of collaboration between the two companies.
"Ingram Micro has been a trusted partner to HPE for more than two decades and naming them a Global Distributor reflects the scale they bring and the mutual commitment we share to help partners grow," said Simon Ewington, SVP, Worldwide Channel & Partner Ecosystem at HPE.
The expanded agreement includes HPE's networking and infrastructure offerings. Ingram Micro will leverage its Xvantage digital experience platform to support the partnership and plans to expand its HPE Partner Growth Accelerator Program worldwide.
The company said it will invest in additional personnel to support new country operations, expanded portfolios, and enhanced partner enablement capabilities. The arrangement provides Ingram Micro customers with access to technical, marketing and sales experts specialized in HPE's portfolio.
HPE will maintain select regional and specialist distributors in certain areas while working with its global distributors for broader market coverage. Ingram Micro operates across four regions and says it can reach nearly 90% of the global population through its distribution network.
The partnership aims to deliver greater simplicity, consistency and speed for HPE's channel ecosystem and customers worldwide, according to the companies.
