HPE selects Ingram Micro and TD SYNNEX as global distributors
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE: HPE) announced it has selected Ingram Micro and TD SYNNEX as its two global distribution partners as part of a move to unify its distribution model. The company said the change aims to deliver greater simplicity and consistency for partners.
The unified model is designed to increase investment in HPE enablement resources and strengthen operational support to help partners sell and service solutions across HPE's portfolio, according to the company's press release.
The two global distributors will work alongside regional and specialist distributors to support HPE's networking, cloud, and artificial intelligence solutions. HPE stated this structure will help maximize partner capabilities and expand cross-sell opportunities, particularly for the HPE Networking portfolio.
"HPE has always believed in the power of distribution to extend our reach, accelerate innovation, and deliver value to customers across the entire HPE portfolio," said Simon Ewington, senior vice president, Channel and Partner Ecosystem at HPE.
The announcement represents the next phase of HPE's distribution evolution, building on its acquisition of Juniper Networks last year. HPE said the combined networks create an opportunity to shape a more unified distribution landscape.
Eric Kohl, vice president, Global Networking and Security at Ingram Micro, said the partnership will help partners accelerate time to value using the company's Xvantage platform. Sergio Farache, chief strategy and technology officer at TD SYNNEX, described the unified model as creating a clearer path for partners to build and support solutions across HPE's portfolio.
HPE said it will continue working at the country level to identify the appropriate mix of distribution partners to support its long-term priorities, ensuring the model reflects regional needs while maintaining global consistency.
