Sharon AI signs $950 million cloud infrastructure deal over five years

May 14, 2026 8:38 AM

Sharon AI Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: SHAZ) announced it has signed a cloud computing infrastructure agreement valued at approximately $950 million over five years with a global technology company that has a major Asia-Pacific presence.

The Australian cloud computing company said it expects to deploy cloud computing solutions across multiple NEXTDC data centers in Australia. Revenue from the contract is expected to commence by the end of the third and fourth quarters of 2026.

The solutions will utilize the Vast Data AI Operating System, which combines storage, database, compute and real-time processing into a single system. The architecture eliminates traditionally separate layers of the technology stack, according to the company.

"We are thrilled to continue to expand our AI Cloud business, building and deploying the latest cloud computing infrastructure in Australia with NEXTDC and Vast Data," said James Manning, co-founder and CEO of Sharon AI. "This contract follows on from our previously announced agreements in the region, and our customer pipeline continues to grow."

David Dzienciol, chief customer officer and chief commercial officer at NEXTDC, said the company is pleased to strengthen its partnership with Sharon AI and see compute infrastructure deployed across its facilities in Australia.

Sunil Chavan, vice-president Asia-Pacific and Japan at Vast Data, noted that the deployments require a reliable data foundation to support workloads, which the VAST AI Operating System was designed to provide.

The information is based on a company press release statement.
