Neuronetics partners with ANT Neuro to add navigation tech to TMS systems
Neuronetics Inc. (NASDAQ: STIM) announced a strategic partnership with ANT Neuro to integrate neuronavigation technology with its NeuroStar Advanced Therapy System for transcranial magnetic stimulation treatment.
The collaboration will offer ANT Neuro's visor2 neuronavigation system alongside NeuroStar TMS devices, enabling healthcare providers to incorporate real-time spatial tracking and 3D visualization into treatment workflows. The visor2 system is cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
NeuroStar's contact sensing technology supports coil positioning and treatment delivery. The integration with ANT Neuro's neuronavigation system aims to enhance treatment visualization and support personalized navigation approaches within TMS workflows.
"By combining NeuroStar's established TMS platform with ANT Neuro's neuronavigation technology, we are continuing to invest in innovations aligned with the evolving needs of TMS providers," said Dan Reuvers, President and CEO of Neuronetics.
KC Chelette, CEO of ANT North America, said the partnership aims to provide clinicians with tools that support visualization, consistency, and confidence throughout the treatment process.
The companies plan to showcase the collaboration at the American Psychiatric Association Annual Meeting in May and the Clinical TMS Society Annual Meeting in June, with a broader rollout planned for the second half of 2026.
Neuronetics operates NeuroStar treatment systems and Greenbrook TMS treatment centers across the United States. The NeuroStar Advanced Therapy System is FDA-cleared for adults with major depressive disorder and other conditions including obsessive-compulsive disorder and anxious depression.
ANT Neuro provides neurotechnology solutions for neuroscience, neurodiagnostics, and neuromodulation, including EEG recording systems and brain monitoring technologies.
