Cross Country Healthcare adds Optimé AI solution to workforce platform
Cross Country Healthcare Inc. (NASDAQ: CCRN) announced an exclusive 36-month partnership to integrate the Optimé workforce strategy and planning solution into its Intellify workforce intelligence platform.
The agreement adds forecasting, analytics and workforce optimization capabilities to Intellify, according to a company statement. The Optimé solution is designed to help health systems align workforce supply with patient demand and reduce labor costs.
"Health systems do not need more dashboards. They need better decisions, better visibility and better operational control," said Kevin Clark, co-founder and chief executive officer of Cross Country Healthcare.
The Optimé solution integrates with major electronic health record, human resources, payroll and time-and-attendance systems, including Epic, Kronos and Lawson. The technology was developed by Strategic Systems International USA Ltd.
Cross Country Healthcare describes itself as a technology-driven healthcare workforce solutions company that provides an AI-powered digital platform and advisory services. The company's Intellify platform is designed to integrate with hospital systems and provide workforce management across service lines including nursing, allied health and locums.
Strategic Systems International launched Optimé in 2010. The cloud-based suite includes components called SmartANALYTICS, SmartSTRATEGY, SmartSCHEDULE, SmartSTAFF and SmartPRODUCTIVITY, according to the company.
