DeFi Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: DEFT) announced the appointment of Russell Starr as strategic advisor to the company. The financial technology company, which operates across traditional capital markets and decentralized finance, made the announcement on Tuesday.

Starr previously served as head of capital markets at DeFi Technologies, where he supported the company's Nasdaq listing and investor positioning efforts. Starr has held senior leadership roles across multiple industries, with experience in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, and strategic partnerships. His background includes work in natural resources, renewable energy, and emerging technology sectors.
