N-able appoints innovation and AI officers to advance cybersecurity

N-able Inc. (NYSE: NABL) announced the appointment of Robert Johnston as Chief Innovation Officer and Nicole Reineke as Chief AI Officer, according to a company press release.

Johnston, founder of Adlumin, will lead strategic innovation initiatives across the cybersecurity company's security services and product portfolio. He previously served as a principal consultant at CrowdStrike and held cyber leadership roles in the United States Marine Corps, including within the Cyber National Mission Force and Marine Corps Red Team.

Reineke will oversee N-able's applied AI strategy across its product portfolio and partner ecosystem. She previously worked as a Senior Distinguished Engineer in Dell Technologies' Office of the CTO and as Senior Vice President of Innovation at Iron Mountain. Reineke holds 58 patents since 2021 and founded CATMIP.org, developing an industry ontology for AI systems.

At N-able, Reineke established the company's AI A2A and Model Context Protocol capabilities, which the company states improved user efficiency up to 70% in endpoint management interactions.

N-able provides cybersecurity services to more than 500,000 organizations worldwide through its AI-powered platform. The Burlington, Massachusetts-based company focuses on delivering security services through managed service providers and other channel partners.
