Amdocs migrates Lumen billing platform to Microsoft Azure
Amdocs (NASDAQ: DOX) announced it is migrating one of Lumen Technologies' enterprise billing platforms to Microsoft Azure as part of Lumen's cloud-first strategy.
The migration represents a continuation of the existing collaboration between the companies and supports Lumen's transition of mission-critical enterprise platforms to public cloud infrastructure. The billing platform supports Lumen's enterprise revenue operations.
Amdocs will use its AI-enabled migration capabilities through its Amdocs Operating System framework to execute the cloud migration. The framework is designed to accelerate cloud transitions and reduce transformation risk.
"Enterprise billing is a foundational capability for how we serve our business customers. By working with Amdocs to migrate one of our billing platforms to Microsoft Azure, we are strengthening resiliency and scalability while improving operational efficiency," said Chad Naeger, Chief Information Officer at Lumen.
Lumen is pursuing a multi-cloud transformation across Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and Amazon Web Services, according to Sulabh Sood, Vice President of Cloud Transformation at Lumen.
Amdocs provides software and services for communications and media companies. The company reported revenue of $4.53 billion in fiscal 2025 and is listed on the NASDAQ Global Select Market.
The information is based on a press release from Amdocs.
