Doximity integrates AI tools with Aledade's care platform

May 13, 2026 4:03 PM

Doximity Inc. (NYSE: DOCS) announced an integration with Aledade to incorporate clinical AI tools into Aledade's value-based care platform. The partnership will embed components of Doximity's Clinical AI Suite into Aledade Assist, Aledade's electronic health record overlay system.

The integration includes Doximity's ambient notetaking tool Scribe and clinical AI assistant Ask, formerly known as DoxGPT. Scribe provides documentation services during patient encounters and features customizable templates that physicians can adapt to specific care models. Ask functions as a clinical AI assistant and medical search engine that provides evidence-based answers to clinical questions.

Ask incorporates PeerCheck, a feature that uses over 10,000 physician authors to validate AI-generated answers for clinical accuracy. The tool operates within a single workflow system for physicians.

"We're proud to partner with Aledade to support independent physicians with customizable AI solutions to help them save time and money," said Jeff Tangney, co-founder and CEO of Doximity.

Aledade operates as a physician-led organization focused on value-based care arrangements. The company's Aledade Assist platform surfaces clinical insights at the point of care for healthcare providers.

"What makes this partnership powerful isn't the technology alone – it's where it lands," said Farzad Mostashari, co-founder and CEO of Aledade. "Aledade brings a decade of patient-level data, the trust of primary care clinicians, and a national network built practice by practice on proven outcomes."

Doximity operates a digital platform serving over 85% of U.S. physicians across medical specialties and practice areas, according to the company's statement.
