Rudolph and Sletten wins Sutter Health contract for orthopedics facility
Tutor Perini Corporation (NYSE: TPC) announced that its subsidiary, Rudolph and Sletten, has been awarded a contract by Sutter Health to convert an existing office building into an Advanced Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Care Complex in Sacramento, California.
The project involves transforming the 660 J Street office building into approximately 120,000 square feet of medical space, including an ambulatory surgical center and medical office building. The facility will feature five operating rooms, sterile processing areas, advanced imaging capabilities, expanded medical offices, exam rooms, concussion clinics, a performance lab, physical therapy spaces, and research areas.
Construction work will include structural upgrades to meet current seismic requirements for the existing cast-in-place post-tensioned structure. The project also calls for complete replacement of all mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
Pre-construction work began in spring 2025, with the project entering the construction phase recently. Substantial completion is anticipated for fall 2027. The contract value was not disclosed but was reflected in Tutor Perini's backlog at the end of the first quarter of 2026.
