Planet Labs Germany's subsidiary Sinergise Solutions d.o.o. has secured a two-year, seven-figure contract with the State Agricultural Intervention Fund of the Czech Republic to provide satellite imagery and AI-powered analytics for agricultural monitoring.

The contract will support the country's agricultural payments and monitoring system, serving approximately 25,000 agricultural holdings across the Czech Republic. Planet will work in partnership with Asseco Group to integrate high-frequency satellite data with AI analytics for the State Agricultural Intervention Fund.

The system will enable automated monitoring of agricultural land for activities including crop type identification and harvest timing verification. This approach shifts from manual inspections to continuous satellite-based monitoring for claim validation processes.

"Integrating Planet's daily satellite data into our administrative processes is a critical step in our digital transformation," said Ing. Petr DlouhĂ˝, MBA, Director General at SZIF. "The ability to receive consistent, high-quality data across the entire country allows us to provide more reliable services to our farmers while ensuring the highest level of integrity in our validation workflows."

The contract expands Planet's presence in supporting European governments with Common Agricultural Policy compliance and other regulatory requirements. Planet's data model allows multiple agencies to use a single daily scan of entire countries to generate localized insights.

Planet Labs PBC (NYSE: PL) operates the largest Earth observation fleet of imaging satellites and is headquartered in San Francisco. The company was founded in 2010 and provides satellite imagery and geospatial solutions to agriculture, forestry, intelligence, education and finance companies, as well as government agencies.
