AngioDynamics Inc. (NASDAQ: ANGO) announced 24-month results from its PRESERVE pivotal trial showing sustained outcomes for its NanoKnife System in treating intermediate-risk prostate cancer. The data was presented at the 2026 American Urological Association Annual Meeting.

The PRESERVE trial enrolled 121 patients with Gleason Grade Group 2-3 intermediate-risk prostate cancer across 17 U.S. clinical centers. At 24 months, 94.4% of analysis-eligible patients completed the assessment, with no new treatment failures identified among patients with available follow-up.

Key findings showed 97% of patients had PSA levels below their baseline value at 24 months, and only one patient underwent a clinically indicated biopsy, which was negative for cancer. No new device or procedure-related adverse events were reported between 12 and 24 months.

The trial uses focal irreversible electroporation technology through the NanoKnife System to destroy targeted tissue without thermal energy. The 12-month primary results, published in European Urology in July 2025, demonstrated an 80% freedom-from-treatment-failure rate among protocol-biopsied patients.

The company conducted the study in collaboration with the Society of Urologic Oncology Clinical Trials Consortium. The NanoKnife System is indicated for surgical ablation of soft tissue, including prostate tissue, in the United States.
