May 13, 2026 9:00 AM

Voyager Technologies (NYSE: VOYG) announced a mission management contract with Exobiosphere for operations aboard the International Space Station. The agreement involves Voyager Technologies Europe serving as mission integrator for Exobiosphere's Orbital High-Throughput Screener platform.

Under the contract, Voyager will provide project management support, safety verification to NASA Safety Review standards, ISS integration and coordination of on-orbit operations for the OHTS payload. The platform is designed for automated drug screening research in microgravity conditions.

"Our mission management services exist to build a clear path for innovative ideas to become a reality in space," said Matt MagaƱa, president of Space, Defense and National Security at Voyager.

The OHTS system can process over 2,000 simultaneous drug screening samples in a single mission and includes integrated brightfield and fluorescence microscopy, luminescence reading, and autonomous media and reagent exchange capabilities. The modular architecture allows samples and consumable elements to be exchanged between campaigns without requiring new hardware deployment.

"OHTS is the first payload of its kind, capable of running over 2,000 simultaneous drug screening samples in a single mission," said Olivia Borgue, co-founder and director of Engineering at Exobiosphere.

The contract supports Exobiosphere's automated biological research platform that aims to make microgravity research accessible to pharmaceutical and biotech partners. Follow-on contracts are anticipated according to the companies.

Information is based on a press release statement from the companies.
