May 13, 2026 8:51 AM

Digital Turbine Inc. (NASDAQ: APPS) announced a partnership with Databricks to integrate artificial intelligence capabilities across its mobile platform spanning over one billion devices and 80,000 applications.

The collaboration integrates Databricks Genie Spaces and Databricks Apps into Digital Turbine's technology infrastructure. Genie Spaces allows employees to query data using natural language, while Databricks Apps enables the development and deployment of AI applications within the existing data environment.

Digital Turbine operates data systems called Ignite Graph and DT iQ that process device interactions and aggregate targeting data. The partnership aims to enhance these systems' ability to process real-time behavioral signals for automated decision-making in mobile advertising and app distribution.

"Integrating Databricks solutions into our technology stack enables the unification of our data architecture and accelerates our ability to deploy next-generation AI," said Ben John, chief technology officer of Digital Turbine.

Tony LaVasseur, regional vice president of media and advertising at Databricks, stated that the integration allows Digital Turbine's teams to access data insights and develop AI applications without moving data outside their governed environment.

Digital Turbine's platform connects advertisers, app developers, and device manufacturers through on-device integrations and app partnerships. The company reports its technology reaches over one billion users monthly across its network of devices and applications.

The partnership was announced based on a company press release statement.
