Enphase opens pre-orders for 548 VA commercial microinverters in US
Enphase Energy Inc. (NASDAQ: ENPH) opened U.S. pre-orders for its IQ9S-3P Commercial Microinverter, supporting solar panels up to 770 watts and connecting directly to three-phase 480Y/277 volt grid configurations without external transformers.
The microinverter delivers up to 548 VA of continuous output power and supports 18 amperes of continuous DC current. Built with gallium nitride technology, the device achieves a CEC weighted efficiency of 97.5% and is designed for commercial projects using 600-770 watt panels.
The product connects directly to three-phase grid configurations and meets UL 1741-SB and IEEE 1547-2018 grid compliance standards. It includes rapid shutdown, phase balancing, voltage and frequency ride-through capabilities, and loss-of-phase detection features.
IQ9S-3P microinverters manufactured in U.S. facilities with domestic content are designed to be FEOC compliant and may help eligible projects qualify for domestic content bonus tax credits. The products also comply with Buy America Act standards for federal direct procurement contracts.
The microinverters connect to the IQ Gateway Commercial Pro communication hub, which provides real-time monitoring, energy management, remote firmware updates, and export limiting capabilities.
Enphase backs the IQ9S-3P microinverters with a 25-year limited warranty, while the IQ Gateway Commercial Pro includes a 15-year limited warranty. Production shipments are expected to begin in June 2026.
The Fremont, California-based company reports shipping approximately 87.8 million microinverters with more than 5.2 million Enphase-based systems deployed across over 165 countries.
