Wallbox (NYSE: WBX) announced a partnership with Freenow by Lyft to support taxi electrification across European markets. The agreement provides Freenow drivers and fleet operators exclusive access to Wallbox charging solutions for home and business use.

The program launched in Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Ireland and Spain. Freenow battery electric vehicle and plug-in hybrid electric vehicle taxi drivers and fleet owners can access Wallbox charging products including Pulsar Max for individual drivers, and Pulsar Pro and eM4 for fleet environments.

Freenow reports that over 60% of vehicles across more than 180 European cities on its platform are fully or partially electrified. The Barcelona-based charging solutions provider will offer exclusive discounts on selected products and connect partners with certified installation services.

"The shift to electric mobility in the taxi sector will depend on making charging simple, accessible and suited to the everyday needs of drivers and fleet operators," said Ignasi Alastuey, Chief Business Officer at Wallbox.

Felix Brand, Chief Strategy Officer at Freenow by Lyft, said the partnership allows the company to offer charging solutions that are "practical, reliable and adapted to the needs of our driver community."

Wallbox provides electric vehicle charging and energy management systems in more than 100 countries. Freenow operates a multi-mobility app across nine European markets and over 180 cities, offering taxi services, ride-hailing, car sharing and other transportation options. Lyft acquired Freenow in July 2025.
