Calfrac elects Ken Wagner to board of directors
Calfrac Well Services Ltd. (TSX: CFW) announced the results of its annual shareholder meeting held May 12, where all eight director nominees were elected, including new board member Ken Wagner.
Wagner received 99.94% approval from shareholders, with 70,201,270 votes in favor and 42,907 votes against. The other seven directors were also re-elected with approval rates ranging from 83.92% to 99.91%.
Wagner serves as President of Green Energy Services Inc., an environmental services company operating in Western Canada. He has over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including roles as founder and President of Cascade Energy Services LP and Chief Operating Officer of Essential Energy Services Trust.
In 2012, Wagner co-founded Fraction Energy Services Ltd., a water management company, serving as President before its sale to Canyon Services Group in 2014. He became President of Green Energy Services in 2020 and led the company's acquisition of Fraction Energy Services from Trican Well Service.
"Ken's significant experience and knowledge of the oilfield services will add considerable value to the board of directors as we continue to execute on our strategic priorities," said Ronald P. Mathison, Chairman, according to the company's statement.
The Calgary-based company provides specialized oilfield services to exploration and production companies across North America and Argentina. The complete voting results will be filed on the company's SEDAR+ profile.
