Lumexa Imaging adds four new outpatient centers across Southeast
Lumexa Imaging (NASDAQ: LMRI) announced the addition of four new imaging centers in 2026, located in Spartanburg, South Carolina; Concord, North Carolina; Wexford, Pennsylvania; and Niceville, Florida.
The company added two locations through acquisitions with joint venture partners Advocate Health and UPMC, while opening two new centers. The Wexford, Pennsylvania location represents the first contribution from Lumexa's joint venture with University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
"Year to date, we have completed two acquisitions and opened two de novo centers, helping keep us on pace on our goal of delivering 8 to 10 de novos annually," said Caitlin Zulla, Chief Executive Officer of Lumexa Imaging.
With these additions, Lumexa now operates more than 190 outpatient imaging centers nationwide. The company has over 5,000 employees and conducted approximately 4 million outpatient procedures system-wide in 2025, according to the press release.
The expansion includes Lumexa's entry into Pennsylvania through the UPMC partnership. The company stated it plans to continue growth through new center development, acquisitions, and strategic joint ventures.
Lumexa provides outpatient medical imaging services and partners with health systems and radiologists across the United States.
