Kyivstar re-elects board and chairman at annual shareholder meeting

Kyivstar Group Ltd. (NASDAQ: KYIV) shareholders re-elected all 10 current directors to the board and re-appointed Kaan Terzioğlu as chairman during the company's 2026 annual general meeting held via teleconference on May 12.



The Ukrainian telecommunications company reported that holders of approximately 91% of shares were represented at the meeting. The board includes Serdar Çetin, Betsy Z. Cohen, Augie K Fabela II, Sir Brandon Lewis, Burak Ozer, Duncan Perry, Michael R. Pompeo, Dmytro Shymkiv, Michiel Soeting and Kaan Terzioğlu.



Kyivstar reported total revenue of $1.157 billion for fiscal year 2025, representing a 25.9% increase year-over-year. The company posted EBITDA of $648 million, up 25.8% year-over-year, with an EBITDA margin of 56.0%.



Digital revenue grew to $124 million in fiscal year 2025, comprising 10.7% of the revenue mix. In the fourth quarter of 2025, digital revenue reached $50 million, representing 15.7% of total revenue for that period.



The company reported 7.3 million multiplay customers as of December 31, 2025, representing an 18.0% increase year-over-year. Multiplay customers are defined as those using voice, 4G data and at least one digital application.



Shareholders approved the re-appointment of UHY LLP as external auditor for the financial year ending December 31, 2026, and authorized the board to determine the auditor's compensation. An amendment to company bylaws was also approved to streamline remuneration processes by granting authority to the Remuneration Committee.
