TKO partners with Arizona for seven events over three years
TKO Group Holdings Inc. (NYSE: TKO) announced a three-year agreement with the Arizona Sports & Events Alliance to stage seven events featuring UFC, WWE, PBR, and Zuffa Boxing programming in Arizona.
The partnership will bring multiple live events from TKO's portfolio to Arizona venues over the three-year period. The company operates UFC mixed martial arts, WWE sports entertainment, Professional Bull Riders, and Zuffa Boxing properties.
"We're excited to build this long-term partnership with the Arizona Sports & Events Alliance to bring some of our biggest events to the state," said Peter Dropick, Executive Vice President of Event Development and Operations for TKO.
Jay Parry, President and CEO of the Arizona Sports & Events Alliance, said the partnership reflects the state's capacity to host major sports and entertainment events. The Alliance serves as Arizona's lead organization for attracting and hosting major events.
TKO stated the agreement represents one of multiple partnerships the company has established with government and private partners globally to host its live events. The company organizes more than 500 live events annually across its properties.
Specific event details, dates, and ticket information will be announced later, according to the press release. TKO reaches audiences in 210 countries and territories through its various properties and attracts more than three million fans to live events annually.
The company's UFC division produces more than 40 live events per year, while WWE creates original content 52 weeks annually. PBR features more than 200 events each year across its various tour divisions.
