IsoEnergy reports uranium mineralization at Hurricane South Trend

May 12, 2026 7:02 AM

IsoEnergy Ltd. (NYSE American: ISOU) reported assay results from its 2026 winter exploration drilling program at the Larocque East project in Canada's Athabasca Basin. The company intersected uranium mineralization grades of up to 4.21% U3O8 over 3.5 meters, including 11.6% U3O8 over 1.0 meter in drill hole LE26-248.

Additional results from the Hurricane South Trend included 2.75% U3O8 over 0.5 meters in hole LE26-234 and 1.75% U3O8 over 0.5 meters in hole LE26-243. The drilling confirmed previously reported radioactivity along the Hurricane South Trend, according to a company statement.

The Hurricane deposit currently contains a mineral resource of 48.6 million pounds U3O8 at 34.5% U3O8 indicated, and 2.7 million pounds U3O8 at 2.2% U3O8 inferred. The project is located approximately 40 kilometers northwest of the McClean Lake mill, with mineralization at approximately 325 meters depth.

"The LE26-248 intersection is important as it is located along the southernmost known fault strands within the Hurricane fault zone," said Dan Brisbin, vice president of exploration.

IsoEnergy plans a follow-up summer drilling program of approximately 8,000 meters across 20 holes, targeting the Hurricane South Trend. The company stated its operations at Larocque East are not currently impacted by flooding in northern Saskatchewan.

The scientific and technical information was reviewed by Dr. Dan Brisbin, P.Geo., IsoEnergy's vice president of exploration and a qualified person under NI 43-101 standards.
