L&T Technology Services announced a strategic partnership with Emerson (NYSE: EMR) to develop engineering systems across multiple industries. The collaboration positions LTTS as a global system integrator for Emerson's NI test platform.

Under the agreement, LTTS will support design, deployment and lifecycle management of engineering platforms for industrial, transportation, semiconductor, and aerospace and defense sectors. The companies plan joint customer engagement approaches and solution development initiatives.

LTTS will establish a Center of Excellence at its Mysuru campus in India, functioning as a hub for solution development and applied innovation using NI software and hardware. The center will focus on product development, test automation and validation workflows.

"Engineering environments are becoming increasingly software defined, data centric and interconnected," said Ritu Favre, President for Emerson's Test and Measurement business. "Through our collaboration with LTTS as a global system integrator, we extend this platform into industry-specific implementations."

Alind Saxena, Executive Director and President of Strategic Initiatives and Growth Markets at LTTS, stated that the partnership strengthens the company's ability to architect and deploy intelligent engineering systems at scale.

The partnership includes joint go-to-market initiatives, industry-specific solution development, license enablement and extended client support models. Both companies will combine Emerson's NI technology platform with LTTS' engineering capabilities to accelerate system integration and product development.
