May 11, 2026 4:35 PM

Xos Inc. (NASDAQ: XOS) will demonstrate its mobile electric vehicle charging technology to U.S. Air Force leadership at the Air Force Global Strike Command Commercial Capabilities Showcase on May 13-14 in Bossier City, Louisiana.

The company was selected as one of 17 finalists from a pool of commercial technology applicants to participate in the showcase. Xos will conduct a live outdoor demonstration of its Charger Hub technology, including real-time DC fast charging of an electric vehicle.

The Charger Hub is a mobile DC fast charging unit that the company states has been deployed at over 100 sites globally. The system requires no utility upgrades, trenching, permits or construction, according to the press release. The unit can be towed by a standard pickup truck and relocated as needed.

The charging system is manufactured in Tennessee and comes in configurations of 210, 420, and 630 kilowatt hours. The company states the product is Buy American compliant and available through government procurement vehicles including GSA, Sourcewell, and OMNIA Partners.

"The Charger Hub was built to solve a real problem: fleets that need power now, without waiting months for infrastructure," said Dakota Semler, Chief Executive Officer of Xos. "The AFGSC Showcase opens a new chapter, validating that the same technology powering commercial fleets across the country is ready to serve national defense."

Giordano Sordoni, Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Xos, will lead the demonstration before AFGSC judges and senior decision-makers. The showcase brings together military leadership and commercial technology partners to evaluate innovations for defense operations.

Xos has provided electric commercial vehicles and fleet electrification solutions since 2018, primarily serving the commercial fleet market.
