GoDaddy Inc. (NYSE: GDDY) launched Airo for WordPress, an artificial intelligence-powered platform that enables users to create and manage WordPress websites through a conversational chat interface.

The platform allows customers to create and launch WordPress sites in minutes, according to the company's announcement. Airo for WordPress operates within the native WordPress dashboard and combines AI creation tools with managed infrastructure and agency workflows.

"Small businesses and agencies have long faced a tradeoff where website builders are easy but limiting, while WordPress is powerful but complex," said Bhala Dalvi, vice president of engineering at GoDaddy. "Airo for WordPress eliminates that by bringing the speed and simplicity of AI together with the flexibility and ownership of WordPress."

The platform includes AI-powered site creation through conversational chat, single-prompt functionality for creating blogs and updating products, and automatic plugin installation based on business requirements. Users can switch between AI assistance and the standard WordPress editor.

The system supports WooCommerce storefronts and provides access to more than 60,000 plugins. GoDaddy states the platform delivers page-load times up to twice as fast as competitors through optimized server hardware and security features.

The platform targets entrepreneurs, small businesses, and agencies managing multiple client websites. Users maintain full ownership of their sites and data without platform restrictions.

GoDaddy offers a seven-day free trial of Airo for WordPress. The company describes itself as the world's largest domain name registrar, serving millions of entrepreneurs globally.
