Seattle Seahawks partner with PayPal for payments and tickets

May 11, 2026 9:00 AM

The Seattle Seahawks and PayPal Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: PYPL) announced a multi-year partnership making PayPal the team's Official Fan-to-Fan Payments and Exclusive Digital Ticket Payment Processing Partner. The Seahawks represent PayPal's first NFL club partnership following the company's league-wide agreement in April.

Under the agreement, PayPal becomes the presenting partner of the Seahawks Gameday Experience Program, which provides fans access to pregame field passes, on-field access during player introductions and postgame press conference access for home games.

Season ticket purchasers will have exclusive access to PayPal's checkout system. The Seahawks have integrated PayPal's payment processing platform with Ticketmaster, marking PayPal's first such integration with an NFL team.

"PayPal is focused on building experiences that match that intensity, making it easier for fans to split tickets, send money, and pay for everything from pregame plans to postgame celebrations," said Ben Volk, SVP and General Manager of PayPal Consumer.

Amy Sprangers, Chief Revenue Officer for the Seattle Seahawks, stated the partnership will "elevate the gameday experience for the 12s in new and exciting ways."

The partnership enables fans to send and receive money through PayPal's peer-to-peer platform across more than 110 countries, use shareable payment links, and transfer funds between PayPal and Venmo applications. PayPal users can connect with over 100 million Venmo users in the United States through the PayPal app.

PayPal operates in approximately 200 markets and works with 14,000 banks globally. The company has maintained payment operations for more than 25 years.
