SailPoint launches Agentic Fabric for AI identity security
SailPoint Inc. (NASDAQ: SAIL) announced the launch of SailPoint Agentic Fabric, a solution designed to secure AI agents and non-human identities within enterprise environments.
The Austin-based identity security company said the new platform addresses security challenges posed by autonomous AI agents operating across cloud environments, applications, and endpoints. According to the company, these AI agents can act at machine speed and often lack clear ownership or oversight.
"AI agents are transforming how work gets done, but they're also introducing a new class of identity risk that most organizations aren't prepared for," said Matt Mills, President at SailPoint. "Agentic Fabric gives organizations the visibility, control, and context to keep autonomous agents secure, accountable, and connected to a human owner."
The Agentic Fabric platform provides three core functions: discovery of AI agents and machine identities across cloud environments, governance through mapping agents to human ownership, and protection via real-time authorization controls and threat detection.
SailPoint is introducing two package options alongside the platform. Agentic Business establishes governance with least-privilege access across identities, while Agentic Business Plus advances to zero-standing privilege with just-in-time access controls.
The company is also offering a free trial of its Discovery Tool, which provides visibility into AI applications across existing environments. The tool is available to new customers as a standalone offering and to existing customers of IdentityIQ and Identity Security Cloud.
Agentic Fabric and the associated packages will be available this summer, according to the company's announcement.
