Goliath Resources adds mining engineer Edwards to advisory board

Goliath Resources Limited (TSX-V: GOT) (OTCQX: GOTRF) (Frankfurt: B4IF) announced the appointment of Alan Edwards to its advisory board, according to a company press release. Edwards brings over 40 years of experience in the global mining industry, spanning project development, operations and executive leadership roles.



Edwards has held senior positions at major mining companies including Detour Gold Corporation, Freeport McMoRan, and Kinross Gold Corporation. At Freeport McMoRan, he served as Senior Vice President Operations, managing operations at P.T. Freeport Indonesia including the Grasberg open pit and underground mining operations. During his tenure at Kinross Gold Corporation as Vice President Operations, he defined and initiated the Phase 6 expansion of the Fort Knox mine in Alaska.



The mining engineer currently serves or has served on boards of several mining companies including Valor Gold, Entrée Resources Ltd., Mason Resources Corp., AQM Copper Inc., and AuRico Gold Corp.



In connection with his appointment, the company granted Edwards 250,000 stock options priced at $1.79 per share for a five-year period, which vest immediately. He also received 210,000 restricted share units that will vest equally over three years, with the first vesting occurring after one year. The grants are subject to the company's omnibus equity incentive plan.



The appointment comes as Goliath Resources prepares for a 50,000-meter drill program in 2026 focused on expanding its Surebet Gold Discovery on the company's Golddigger Project in British Columbia's Golden Triangle. The company completed a 64,364-meter drill campaign in 2025.



Goliath Resources operates precious metals exploration projects in Northwestern British Columbia, with strategic shareholders including Crescat Capital, Global Commodity Group, McEwen Inc. (NYSE: MUX) (TSX: MUX), Waratah Capital Advisors, Rob McEwen, Eric Sprott and Larry Childress.
