Goliath Resources Limited (TSX-V: GOT) (OTCQX: GOTRF) (Frankfurt: B4IF) announced the appointment of Alan Edwards to its advisory board. Edwards brings over 40 years of experience in the global mining industry, spanning project development, operations, and executive leadership across both open pit and underground mining operations.

Edwards previously held senior positions at major mining companies including Detour Gold Corporation, Freeport McMoRan, and Kinross Gold Corporation. At Freeport McMoRan, he served as Senior Vice President Operations, managing operations at P.T. Freeport Indonesia mining including the Grasberg open pit and underground mining operations. During his tenure at Kinross Gold Corporation as Vice President Operations, he defined and initiated the Phase 6 expansion of the Fort Knox mine in Alaska, which added six years of mine life.

Edwards currently serves or has served on the boards of several mining companies, including as Chairman of Valor Gold, and board positions at Entrée Resources Ltd., Mason Resources Corp., AQM Copper Inc., and AuRico Gold Corp.

The company granted Edwards 250,000 stock options priced at $1.79 per share for a five-year period, which will vest immediately. He also received 210,000 restricted share units that will vest equally over three years, with first vesting occurring after one year. The grants are subject to the company's omnibus equity incentive plan.

Roger Rosmus, Founder and CEO of Goliath, stated the appointment comes as the company prepares to advance its Surebet Gold Discovery. The company plans a 50,000 meter drill program in 2026 focused on expansion at its Golddigger Project in British Columbia's Golden Triangle.
