TELUS elects 14 directors at annual meeting
TELUS Corporation (NYSE: TU) announced that all 14 nominees proposed by management were elected as directors at the company's annual meeting on May 8, 2026.
The directors elected include Raymond T. Chan, Hazel Claxton, Lisa De Wilde, Victor Dodig, Darren Entwistle, Thomas Flynn, Mary Jo Haddad, Martha Hall Findlay, Christine Magee, John Manley, David Mowat, Marc Parent, Denise Pickett, and W. Sean Willy.
Voting results showed strong shareholder support for the nominees. Hazel Claxton received the highest percentage of votes for with 99.08%, while Mary Jo Haddad received the lowest at 95.51%. All directors were elected with at least 95% shareholder approval.
The complete voting results for all matters considered at the annual meeting will be published on telus.com/agm and filed with Canadian and U.S. securities regulators, according to the company's statement.
TELUS operates in more than 45 countries and generates over $20 billion in annual revenue with more than 21 million customer connections through broadband services for consumers, businesses and the public sector.
