NVIDIA adds former Goldman Sachs executive to board
NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ: NVDA) announced the appointment of Suzanne Nora Johnson to its board of directors, effective July 13, 2026. Johnson previously served as Vice Chairman of The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., where she held leadership positions for two decades.
Johnson, 68, will join the board's Audit Committee upon her appointment. She holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A. from the University of Southern California. Her Goldman Sachs roles included Chair of the Global Markets Institute, Head of Global Research and Head of Global Healthcare.
Johnson currently serves on the board of directors of Pfizer Inc., where she chairs the Audit Committee and serves on the Executive Committee and Regulatory & Compliance Committee. She recently stepped down as Board Chair of Intuit Inc., where she had served as a director since 2007.
"Suzanne is an extraordinary leader whose career spans finance, technology, healthcare and public policy," said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA. "Her experience guiding global companies, together with her leadership at the forefront of education and philanthropy, will be an invaluable asset to NVIDIA's board."
With Johnson's appointment, NVIDIA's board will expand to 11 members effective July 13, 2026. The information was disclosed in a company press release.
