Super Star Car Wash selects Vontier's DRB for 118-site software upgrade
Super Star Car Wash has selected DRB, a Vontier (NYSE: VNT) company, to deploy its Patheon car wash management platform across 118 locations. The conversion from Super Star's current system is expected to complete in 2026.
The deployment will affect operations for more than 1,000 Super Star employees and over 550,000 members across the company's network in Arizona, California, Colorado, and Texas. Site conversions are currently underway, according to a company statement.
DRB's Patheon platform features hybrid cloud architecture designed to provide real-time visibility across locations. The system includes integrated consumer marketing, transaction processing capabilities, and management tools for customer and store operations.
"This upgrade is about more than technology — it's about building a better experience for our guests and our teams," said Chad Gretzema, CEO of Super Star Car Wash. "With DRB's Patheon, we're not just solving today's challenges; we're building the foundation for tomorrow's innovation."
The selection followed an evaluation process where Super Star assessed its technology infrastructure and future requirements. Brian Steele, VP of Information Technology for Super Star Car Wash, said the company conducted an extensive search for a technology partner.
DRB will handle implementation at new locations and overnight conversion of existing sites. The phased rollout is designed to maintain daily operations during the transition period.
David Nixon, President of DRB, said the partnership demonstrates Patheon's capabilities to serve high-growth operators in the car wash market. DRB provides technology solutions for the car wash industry and is part of Vontier, a global technology company serving the mobility ecosystem.
