S&P Global names board for Mobility Global spinoff
S&P Global Inc. (NYSE: SPGI) announced the eight-member board of directors for Mobility Global Inc., which is expected to become an independent public company following its separation from S&P Global by mid-2026.
Joe Hinrichs, former CEO of CSX Corporation, will serve as chairman of the board. Bill Eager, current president of S&P Global Mobility and CEO-designate of Mobility Global, will also join the board.
The board will include Eric Aboaf, chief financial officer of S&P Global; Heather Lavallee, CEO of Voya Financial; Monique Leroux, former CEO of Desjardins Group; Mark Peek, former CFO of Workday; Shilpa Ranganathan, chief product officer of Expedia Group; and Alexander Taussig, board partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners.
Hinrichs served as president and CEO of CSX Corporation from September 2022 to September 2025 and previously held various executive positions at Ford Motor Company, including president of Ford's global automotive business. He currently serves on the board of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.
The separation is subject to customary legal and regulatory requirements and approvals, including final approval by S&P Global's board of directors and the Form 10 registration statement being declared effective by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Mobility Global provides automotive data and analytics across the vehicle lifecycle through brands including CARFAX, automotiveMastermind, Polk Automotive Solutions, and Market Scan. The company serves automakers, suppliers, dealer groups, media companies, financial institutions, and consumers.
