WRAP Technologies to present non-lethal tools at Italy law enforcement event

May 8, 2026 8:02 AM

Wrap Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: WRAP) will participate in a European law enforcement conference in Italy on May 13-14, 2026, to demonstrate its non-lethal response technology platform to public safety professionals.

The company will showcase its BolaWrap device, WrapReality virtual reality training system, and related training programs at the event hosted by its Italian partner Defcon Services. The conference, titled "Rethinking Use of Force," expects approximately 200 attendees including local police, government officials, and media representatives.

The BolaWrap device deploys a Kevlar tether designed to temporarily restrict movement without relying on pain compliance, electrical shock, or chemical irritation. The device creates what the company describes as a multi-sensory response through sight, sound, and physical sensation.

The program will include operational presentations, participant discussions, and practical demonstrations of both the BolaWrap system and WrapReality training platform. Senior WRAP representatives and Italian public safety speakers are scheduled to participate, along with a roundtable featuring local and regional police commanders.

International distributor partners will also attend for training and certification purposes to support future market development in the region. The event will address the regulatory framework for deploying non-lethal technologies and their integration into existing police equipment protocols.

WRAP currently serves over 1,000 agencies across the United States and operates in 60 countries. The company's product portfolio includes the BolaWrap 150 device, WrapReality immersive training platform, WrapVision body-worn camera system, and counter-drone solutions.

The Miami-based company positions itself as providing alternatives to traditional force options in law enforcement encounters. The European market represents part of WRAP's international expansion strategy for its non-lethal response technologies.
