May 8, 2026 12:10 AM

Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc. (NASDAQ: FFAI) signed a memorandum of understanding with Boston International Business School to establish the BIBS–FF AI Robotics Institute, according to a company statement.

The signing ceremony took place in Omaha during the Berkshire Hathaway Annual Shareholders Meeting. Definitive agreements remain subject to approval by Faraday Future's board of directors.

The institute will focus on developing professional talent for the AI and robotics industry, offering training in robot operation, AI development, system integration, and automation solutions. It will also establish a certification system covering various aspects of robotics and physical AI applications.

Boston International Business School was co-founded by Pedro Nueno, co-founder of China Europe International Business School, and Liya Rong, former publisher of Harvard China Review. The institute announced faculty members from various institutions including Peking University, Stanford University, and Harvard University.

The partnership aims to integrate educational resources with robotics technology deployment. Students and robots within the institute will generate data intended for training AI systems, according to the company.

"Education must evolve alongside industry. This collaboration represents a new model that closely integrates learning, practice, and innovation," Pedro Nueno said in the statement.

The institute is seeking partnerships with vocational training organizations, K-12 schools, community colleges, universities, and technical institutions. Partner institutions would receive access to robotic systems, standardized curriculum, and internship opportunities at FF AI-Robotics.

Faraday Future, founded in 2014, delivered its first vehicles in 2023 and recently announced entry into robotics with planned sales beginning in February 2026.
