Perseus Mining Limited (ASX/TSX: PRU) announced that Wade Bickley will join the company as Chief Operating Officer effective June 1, 2026. Bickley will be based in the company's Dubai office.

Bickley brings more than 25 years of industry experience in gold and base metals operations across Australia, West Africa and Southern Africa. He previously served as General Manager at Obuasi Mine in Ghana for AngloGold Ashanti and held executive positions including Head of Mining Khoemacau for Cupric Canyon Capital and various roles at Anglo American and Anglo American Platinum. Most recently, he worked as Chief Operating Officer at Appian Capital Base Metals.

The new COO holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Queensland.

Perseus Mining operates gold mines in Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire and is developing the Nyanzaga gold project in Tanzania. The appointment comes as the company expands its African operations.
