HASI names new co-chief investment officers in leadership reshuffle
HA Sustainable Infrastructure Capital, Inc. (NYSE: HASI) announced executive appointments effective May 12, 2026, including the naming of two co-chief investment officers and other leadership changes.
Amanuel Haile-Mariam will assume the role of Senior Managing Director and Co-Chief Investment Officer. Haile-Mariam joined HASI in 2021 and has led the company's Grid-Connected investment business, including a $1.2 billion investment in the Sunzia project.
Annmarie Reynolds will serve as Senior Managing Director and Co-Chief Investment Officer. Reynolds joined HASI in 2022 and established the company's Fuels, Transport, and Nature investment business, including renewable natural gas investments.
Daniela Shapiro will become Senior Managing Director and Co-Chief Risk Officer and will join the Investment Committee as a voting member. Shapiro joined HASI in 2022 and has overseen the Behind-the-Meter investment business, including a $500 million joint venture with Sunrun.
Viral Amin will continue as Senior Managing Director and Co-Chief Risk Officer, maintaining his role on the Investment Committee. Amin joined HASI in 2023.
Christy Freer joined HASI in April 2026 as Senior Managing Director and Chief Legal Officer. Freer previously served as General Counsel at Inspiration Mobility and held positions at Plaid, Mayer Brown, Capital One, and Orrick.
Marc Pangburn will leave the executive team to join GoodFinch, HASI's SunStrong joint venture partner, as Partner. Pangburn has been with HASI since 2013.

HASI manages more than $16 billion in sustainable infrastructure assets, according to the company's statement.
