Post Holdings names Nicolas Catoggio as new CEO, Vitale to chair
Post Holdings Inc. (NYSE: POST) announced that Robert Vitale will transition from chairman and CEO to executive chairman on October 1, 2026, while Nicolas Catoggio will become president and CEO.
Catoggio currently serves as executive vice president and chief operating officer at the St. Louis-based consumer packaged goods holding company. He was named COO in January 2026 after leading Post Consumer Brands as president and CEO since September 2021.
Before joining Post, Catoggio worked as managing director and senior partner in Boston Consulting Group's Consumer Goods practice, where he advised Post on mergers and acquisitions, integrations and portfolio realignment.
As executive chairman, Vitale will provide strategic guidance on capital allocation and advise the new CEO. During his tenure, Vitale oversaw the company's expansion into new categories and international markets while leading over 50 capital markets and merger transactions.
"Over the past several years, he has driven strong performance at Post Consumer Brands, led integration of acquisitions, and earned the trust of our teams across the organization," Vitale said of Catoggio.
Post Holdings operates businesses in center-of-the-store, refrigerated, foodservice and food ingredient categories. Its portfolio includes Post Consumer Brands, Michael Foods, Bob Evans Farms and Weetabix.
