HomeServices of America announced the appointment of Lane McCormack as President of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida, according to a company press release.

McCormack brings 28 years of real estate industry experience to the role. She previously served as Chief Executive Officer and Qualifying Broker at Ansley Real Estate/Christie's International Real Estate for seven years.

"Lane is a dynamic and visionary leader whose experience and reputation in the luxury space makes her uniquely suited to lead Beach Properties of Florida," said Chris Kelly, CEO of HomeServices of America.

Prior to her tenure at Ansley, McCormack held senior leadership positions within the HomeServices of America network, including Managing Broker at Prudential Georgia Properties and Senior Vice President and Managing Broker of Harry Norman, Realtors. She also served as President of the Atlanta REALTORS Association and was named one of the Atlanta Business Chronicle's Most Admired CEOs in 2023.

The appointment enables Jimmy Burgess to transition full-time into his role as Chief Coaching Officer of HomeServices of America, where he will focus on coaching initiatives across the organization's network of brokerages and franchisees.

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida operates in Northwest Florida from the Forgotten Coast to the Emerald Coast, specializing in luxury and coastal properties.

HomeServices of America is owned by Berkshire Hathaway Energy, a consolidated subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. The company operates as a provider of homeownership services including brokerage, mortgage, franchising, title, insurance and relocation services.
