Norsk Hydro ASA elected Pia Aaltonen-Forsell as a new board member during its annual general meeting on May 7, 2026. Her term begins October 1, 2026.

The meeting also re-elected six existing board members: Rune Bjerke, Kristin Fejerskov Kragseth, Marianne Wiinholt, Philip Graham New, Jane Toogood and Espen Gundersen. All shareholder-elected members will serve terms lasting up to two years or until the company's 2028 annual general meeting.

Following the elections, Hydro's board consists of 12 members. Rune Bjerke serves as chair and Kristin Fejerskov Kragseth as deputy chair. The board includes eight shareholder-elected members and four employee representatives: Arve Baade, Margunn Sundve, Bjørn Petter Moxnes and Ellen Merete Olstad.

The board held a constituting meeting following the annual general meeting on May 7, 2026. The nomination committee's recommendations were approved as proposed.
