Mercury Insurance partners with Olympus Insurance for Florida bundling
Mercury Insurance (NYSE: MCY) and Olympus Insurance announced a partnership to offer bundled auto and homeowners insurance in Florida through independent agents.
The program allows agents to sell Mercury auto insurance alongside Olympus homeowners coverage. Eligible customers can receive 10% discounts on both Mercury auto policies and qualifying Olympus homeowners policies.
"This partnership reflects our deep commitment to growing in Florida and investing in the agents who are growing with us," said Nick Colby, Chief Sales Officer at Mercury Insurance.
The partnership combines Mercury's auto insurance with Olympus' Florida-focused homeowners coverage. Olympus Insurance has provided residential property insurance for Florida homeowners since 2007 and was acquired by SageSure earlier this year.
Adam Cordonnier, Vice President of Revenue and Growth at Olympus Insurance, stated the collaboration "unites two established insurers with a shared commitment to service, financial strength, and agent partnerships."
Mercury Insurance operates as a multiple-line insurance carrier offering personal auto, homeowners, renters and commercial insurance through independent agents in 11 states. The company has earned an "A" rating from A.M. Best and employs more than 4,200 people working with over 6,340 independent agents.
The companies said participating agents will receive training, resources and support for the bundled coverage program.
