Tenaris appoints Gabriel Podskubka as CEO, Paolo Rocca remains chairman
Tenaris S.A. (NYSE: TS) announced that its board of directors has appointed Gabriel Podskubka as chief executive officer. Paolo Rocca will continue serving as chairman of the board.
Podskubka has served as Tenaris's chief operating officer since 2023, overseeing sales and marketing, supply chain and production operations, and product and service development. He joined the company in Argentina in 1995 and has held leadership positions across marketing, commercial and industrial functions.
From 2009, Podskubka headed Tenaris's Eastern European operations and served as president of its Eastern Hemisphere operations from 2013 to 2023. The board described his appointment as the result of a long-term leadership planning process.
Rocca has led Tenaris since before the company became public in 2002. The board credited him with building the company over the past 25 years and creating what they described as a unified company providing products and services to customers in the energy industry.
Tenaris supplies steel tubes and related services for the energy industry and other industrial applications. The company trades on the New York Stock Exchange and Mexico's stock exchange under the ticker TS, and on Italy's exchange as TEN.
