Buckle reports modest sales growth for april 2026
The Buckle, Inc. (NYSE: BKE) reported net sales of $86.3 million for the four-week period ended May 2, 2026, representing a 0.9 percent increase from $85.5 million in the same period last year. Comparable store sales for stores open at least one year increased 0.2 percent during the period.
For the 13-week fiscal period ended May 2, 2026, net sales rose 6.1 percent to $288.7 million compared to $272.1 million in the prior year period. Comparable store sales increased 5.1 percent year-to-date for the same 13-week period.
The Nebraska-based specialty retailer currently operates 443 retail stores across 42 states, adding one new location in Byron Center, Michigan during fiscal April and another in Baraboo, Wisconsin after the fiscal month ended. This compares to 439 stores as of May 7, 2025.
The company will announce first quarter earnings on May 29, 2026, with management hosting a live audio webcast at 10:00 a.m. EDT the same day to discuss quarterly results.
Buckle specializes in apparel, accessories, and footwear, with a focus on denim products including its exclusive BKE brand. The sales figures were disclosed in a company press release.
