Truist Securities analyst Mark D. Hughes raised the price target on Assurant (NYSE: AIZ) to $290.00 (from $280.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.

The analyst commented, "We are increasing our 2026 EPS estimate to $21.00 from $20.50, while we are bumping up our 2027 forecast to $23.15 from $22.75. Excluding catastrophe losses – now assumed to be $173 million this year and $189 million next year – our estimates are $23.70 and $26.15, respectively. Our price target of $290 (from $280) assumes the stock trades at just over 12x our 2027 EPS estimate – including the catastrophe load – in line with the company’s own 10-year norm albeit at the low end of the Specialty Insurance group (Figures 1 & 2)."
