United States Antimony appoints Shawn Winkler as interim CFO
United States Antimony Corporation (NYSE: UAMY) announced that Shawn Winkler has been appointed as interim Chief Financial Officer, effective May 4, 2026. The appointment follows the commencement of a temporary personal leave of absence by Richard Isaak, the company's Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
The company stated that Isaak's leave is personal and unrelated to the company's financial performance, accounting practices, internal controls, or financial reporting matters. Isaak is expected to return following the conclusion of his leave, which is anticipated to last a minimum of two months.
Winkler previously served as a financial consultant to the company and brings over two decades of corporate finance, capital markets, and executive leadership experience. He most recently held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Burrow Global, a Texas-based engineering, procurement, and construction firm serving the energy industry.
Prior to his CFO role, Winkler spent 15 years as an investment banker at BMO Capital Markets and Deutsche Bank Securities, where he advised natural resources sector clients on more than $10 billion of mergers and acquisitions transactions. He holds an MBA from Rice University's Jones Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Managerial Studies, and Policy Studies from Rice University.
The company confirmed it remains on track to release first quarter financial results ending March 31, 2026, on May 14, 2026, as previously announced. United States Antimony Corporation produces and processes antimony, zeolite, and other critical minerals, operating facilities in Montana, Mexico, and Idaho.
