Perfect Corp. partners with Pegasus for Silicon Valley hackathon
Perfect Corp. (NYSE: PERF) announced a partnership with Pegasus Tech Ventures and Startup World Cup for a Silicon Valley hackathon focused on retail technology development. The online competition runs through May 7, 2026, with winners announced at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California.
The hackathon invites developers and startups to build retail experiences using Perfect Corp.'s AI and augmented reality API suite. Participants can access technologies including AI skin analysis, virtual try-on for beauty and fashion products, personalized product recommendations, and generative AI text-to-image creation.
Perfect Corp. will award $2,500 in total prize money, with first place receiving $1,500 and second place receiving $1,000. The company provides 1,000 free API units to all participants for development purposes.
