Cloudera launches zero copy connector for ServiceNow workflows

May 5, 2026 11:01 AM

Cloudera announced the availability of a Workflow Data Fabric Zero Copy Connector for ServiceNow at the Knowledge26 conference. The integration connects hybrid data lakehouses with intelligent workflows to enable AI execution without data duplication.

The connector allows enterprises to query data directly where it resides, eliminating traditional data movement requirements while maintaining security and governance standards. Organizations can avoid data movement pipelines, reduce costs, and prevent redundant storage while keeping sensitive data secure within protected hybrid environments.

"Enterprises cannot scale autonomous AI without being able to prove why decisions are made," said Leo Brunnick, Chief Product Officer at Cloudera. "Without this traceability, organizations cannot safely deploy AI agents or meet regulatory demands."

Pramod Mahadevan, VP, Data & Analytics Product Ecosystem at ServiceNow, stated that Cloudera plays a role in breaking down data silos by bringing enterprise data into a single, governed platform where it is curated, processed, and trusted.

The collaboration builds on ServiceNow joining Cloudera's partner AI ecosystem in 2025. The new connector enables enterprises to link AI-driven actions back to source data without moving sensitive information. Cloudera describes it as the first-to-market connector delivering hybrid-native, zero-copy AI governance integrated with ServiceNow.

The announcement was made at ServiceNow's Knowledge26 conference, where Cloudera is participating in sessions and maintaining a booth. The information is based on a press release from Cloudera.
