Spectrum Mobile launches second line service for $10 monthly

May 5, 2026 10:04 AM

Spectrum Mobile announced the launch of Spectrum Mobile Second Line, a service that allows customers to add a second phone number to compatible smartphones for $10 per month. The service is available to both residential and business customers of Charter Communications Inc. (NASDAQ: CHTR).

The Second Line service works with eligible Dual SIM Dual Standby smartphones, including dual eSIM devices. Customers can add a dedicated voice and text number that shares the data plan of their primary line. The service includes unlimited talk and text within the U.S., Mexico and Canada, along with voicemail, visual voicemail and Call Guard features.

Spectrum Mobile began offering dual eSIM phones in 2021, which the company states have comprised the majority of device sales since then. Customers can assign names to each line and select which number to use when making calls or sending text messages directly from their device.

"Our customers want practical ways to keep their work and personal life organized on one device," said David Owens, Senior Vice President, Mobile Products. "It's a simple, integrated way to manage different numbers, whether for business or personal, without extra devices or toggling between apps."

Customers can add the Second Line service through self-service options on Spectrum.net or the My Spectrum App, or by contacting a Spectrum Mobile representative. The service supports both new numbers and number portability from other carriers.

Spectrum Mobile offers three data plans for primary lines: By the Gig, Unlimited and Unlimited Plus. All plans include nationwide 5G access with plan-switching flexibility. The company also provides a $1,000 savings guarantee for new customers switching internet and mobile service from other providers.
