Alpha Tau Medical Ltd. (NASDAQ: DRTS) announced that its abstract on combining Alpha DaRT therapy with pembrolizumab for elderly head and neck cancer patients has been selected for podium presentation at the American Head and Neck Society 12th International Conference on Head and Neck Cancer.

The presentation will occur during the Proffered Papers session on Radiation and Adjuvant Therapies on July 21, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the conference in Boston, Massachusetts, which runs July 18-22, 2026.

The abstract presents data from a clinical study conducted at Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem, Israel, evaluating Alpha DaRT in combination with pembrolizumab in elderly patients with locally advanced and metastatic head and neck squamous cell carcinoma. The study builds on previous monotherapy data from clinical studies conducted in the United States, Europe, Israel, and Japan.

Head and neck squamous cell carcinoma represents the sixth most common malignancy worldwide, with approximately 25-40% of patients diagnosed at age 70 or older, according to the press release. Elderly patients with locally advanced or metastatic disease often face limited treatment options.
