SoundHound AI launches OASYS self-learning agent platform
SoundHound AI Inc. (NASDAQ: SOUN) announced the launch of OASYS (Orchestrated Agent System), a platform designed to create and manage AI agents that can build and improve themselves autonomously, according to a company press release.
The platform allows businesses to deploy AI agents across multiple channels including phones, web chats, in-vehicle systems, and kiosks. OASYS can automatically create functioning agents within minutes using existing documentation and transcripts, the company stated.
The system differs from traditional AI platforms by managing the entire agent lifecycle, including creation, orchestration, evaluation, and improvement over time. Once deployed, OASYS evaluates workflows for performance gaps and engineers its own updates, which are then presented to human experts for approval.
"With OASYS, we are fundamentally shifting from 'static' AI to a self-learning ecosystem where AI builds, manages, and actively improves itself," said Keyvan Mohajer, CEO and Co-founder of SoundHound AI.
The platform maintains context across different channels and languages, enabling seamless transitions between devices during interactions. It includes enterprise-grade security guardrails and human oversight capabilities for sensitive tasks.
Applications for OASYS include call center automation, in-vehicle commerce, sales floor assistance, outbound customer engagement, and drive-thru ordering. The system can handle complex workflows such as insurance claims, retail orders, payments, and appointment scheduling.
The platform represents an integration of SoundHound's recent strategic acquisitions into a single comprehensive system. The company serves customers across automotive, financial services, healthcare, retail, and telecommunications industries, processing billions of interactions annually.
