JetBlue announces enhanced Premier credit card benefits with Barclays
JetBlue Airways Corp. (NASDAQ: JBLU) launched enhanced benefits for its Premier World Elite Mastercard issued by Barclays US Consumer Bank, maintaining the $499 annual fee while adding new perks for cardholders.
The airline introduced a limited-time offer of 100,000 TrueBlue points for new cardmembers who spend $5,000 and pay the annual fee within the first three months after approval.
New benefits include companion pass statement credits worth up to $500 after spending $15,000 annually, with an additional pass worth up to $1,500 after $75,000 in annual spending. Cardmembers will receive a 25-tile bonus each calendar year toward Mosaic status and up to $300 in annual statement credits for TrueBlue Travel purchases.
The enhanced card offers a 15% redemption rebate on TrueBlue points used for award flights on JetBlue or partner airlines. Authorized users incur a $150 annual fee.
JetBlue plans to expand its BlueHouse lounge to Boston Logan International Airport Terminal C this summer. The Boston location will feature New England coastal design elements, exposed brick, copper accents, and locally inspired food prepared in an in-house kitchen.
Premier cardmembers traveling on eligible fares receive complimentary access to BlueHouse lounges for themselves and one guest, including the existing location at John F. Kennedy International Airport and the upcoming Boston facility.
The airline also added ClassPass credits for Premier cardmembers, providing 14 monthly credits for fitness classes and wellness experiences at participating locations nationwide.
Additional existing benefits include Priority Pass Select membership access to over 1,800 airport lounges worldwide, Global Entry or TSA PreCheck application fee credits, and Group 3 boarding priority.
